40x5 NIGHT PROJECT
The following 40 night photographs are a collection from my first 5 years of shooting. I have biked, hiked, and driven across North America shooting photographs in the middle of night for the fulfillment of creating and recoding images in complete darkness. Using the natural light of the moon to illuminate the mountains and valleys of the Rocky Mountains, or passing cars to highlight the foreground of a landscape. The compiled photographs show our saturation of man mad light and the distant glow of cities to the last roadless lands of North America and the pristine settings of our National Parks. All images were taken with a Pentax K1000 on Kodak vs100 and Fuji Velvia 400 35mm film.
